A few days ago I had a chance to shoot two vintage 2" Colt Diamondbacks, owned by a buddy. Both Blue, one engraved.
While I am a S&W Revolver kind of guy, I do like the Diamondbacks [and Pythons to].
One thing that I did like on these 2" Colt revolvers was the sights.
The front blade looks thinner, it was easier to line up properly.
Also the sun was low in the sky and coming from the left.
The Colt rear sight was much easier to see under those conditions than the rear sights on my S&W 44 Mags and 22 LR Kit Guns.
The Diamondbacks were plenty accurate. I do not like their Double Action, as well as the S&W, but the little guns do handle pretty good
They do have a certain amount or "Cool" factor as well.
