My Son-in-law has his Grandfathers ( his Grandfather was a policeman) Colt model .357 ( pre Trooper?). Nice revolver with a good tight action however it has been refinished ( over buffed) in nickel. The only issue I see is that the ejector rod knob is missing; I believe this is somewhat common.
Long shot but does anyone know where he could get a replacement knob at a reasonable cost? I understand the threads can be either 6-32 or 6-36 so we checked with a 6-32 nut. It starts but only goes one thread so I believe it is threaded 6-36.
GOT one on the way - THANKS
