For sale is a Colt Lightweight Sporter AR-15. This gun was purchased by me from a close friend who bought it in the early to mid Nineties new. It sat in his safe, unfired, until this summer when I bought it. It's STILL unfired. I just can't warm to this platform, and I'm considering other ideas. This is a basic, no frills AR, and it IS a Colt. No box, but I do have the owner's manual. It will come with five thirty round mags stamped KAY INDUSTRIES, New Britain, Conn. These mags have green followers. I will also include an extra gas tube that my friend tossed in when he sold it to me. I want a FTF deal in Alabama, preferably North Alabama; just not interested in shipping. Sorry for the mediocre pics; best my cell will take.
