Any word on an Anaconda in 45Colt yet?
I’ve been watch’n and waiting but haven’t
even heard a hint of one.
I’ve looked at the 44Rem Mags but I have
enough of them.
Just dreaming and staying hopeful.

The Anaconda was designed for the .454 which can also take the .45 Colt. Whether one or a .45 Colt only version will be produced is still an open question. Colt is selling all they can produce now...maybe in the future should sales slow but if anyone in house knows they're not talking.
I'd like to see a Python produced in 10mm...no big deal engineering-wise. Or bring back the New Frontier in 10mm...that would be really schweet!

I always thought rebates were kind of a cheesy way of promoting a product. The new Pythons and Anacondas are good enough Colt doesn’t have to pay someone to buy them.
I already have a 4 and 6 inch Anacondas in 44M. I need another one like I need a hole in my head, but if they ever make one in 454, I’m buying a 4 incher!

Bought a 6” Anaconda last month, so no rebate…but it was on clearance for $100 off. Hhhhmmm.
Would be all over a .45 or 454, would even get a python in .41 or 10mm with a 38/40 cylinder. They gotta see the possibilities.

Sales must have slowed and inventory must be piling up with distributors...hence the rebate. The rebate doesn't extend to models such as the new Grizzly and Kodiak which seem to be selling very well and taking up all the attention.
Ordered a Grizzly last week to take advantage of the $100 off. No biggie..but it was enough of a tease for me to go ahead, and now have a pair of "bear" guns. (Kodiak and Grizzly)
