Concealed Carry Permit. Is This True?

I've been getting those emails too. New Mexico requires a day of classroom and a morning of live fire. Oddly, the gun you qualify with is the largest caliber you can carry once you have your permit. Qualify with a 9 or .357 and you may not carry a .45 concealed.
Yep...I taught CC classes there for 10 yrs... considering the stranglehold the entrenched Dems have on that state, it is a miracle they have CHL's at all...and every 2 yrs a permit holder must attend either a refresher course or a renewal course..and instructions also must attend CE courses...very restricted, especially in comparison to my ( now) home state, Georgia, where if you are breathing you can obtain a permit.

North Carolina mandates eight hour classroom plus 30 rd live fire course. NO non residence permits. Internet permit is "BS"

Gun guy here 69 years old., yes I know should have applied years ago like my wife and kids did. Question? I keep seeing ads on the gun channels that I can answerer 6 questions and get my permit. No classroom or shooting. All on line and I am preapproved because I live in Florida. Is this true? Or a scam?
Total BS. Don't buy into this scam. and don't get put in jail for believing it and relying on it. Review the laws in your state and, maybe check with instate gun groups for info on the real way and the legal requirements in your jurisdiction for and method to to get a legally valid permit.

This ranks right up there with all the 'sovereign citizen' stupidity and BS. No better way to get in really big trouble than buying into it.

Your local Tax Collectors office may offer one stop processing of your application. Once you have taken the needed classes and range time, they do photos, fingerprints and process your application up to the Dept of Agriculture. Cost a little more, but eliminates a lot of hassle.
There are also several processing centers around the state, in the larger cities.
