Does anyone have any experience with the FPC in .40 S&W? I can't find one locally to check out and the only YouTube video I can find about it doesn't paint it in a positive light.

I'm in the market for a compact, backpack sized, PCC that will share magazines and ammo with my first generation M&P40 and my options are mostly limited to the FPC and the KelTec Sub2000 Gen 2. I'm on the fence about KelTec products and the FPC, being designed to do this from day one, seems to make more sense.

I have one in 9mm, along with a M&P pistol that uses the same magazines. Both have been flawless.

What did the YouTube crybabies not like about it?

It mostly appeared to be a combination of little things that annoyed the reviewer, things like the charging handle reciprocating and the recoil being harsh for a PCC.

The general consensus of the 9x19mm version is positive, owners seem to really like them and generally regard them as a bit nicer than the SUB 2000. The single review I found on the .40 S&W version seemed so out of place, so I decided to come here and ask if anyone else had similar experiences with their FPC in .40 S&W. The .40 S&W version hasn't been out very long and the decreasing popularity of the cartridge means there probably won't be many reviews out there.

I'll just pick one up and see for myself. The generally positive reviews on the 9x19mm version outweighs one YouTuber's minor complaints about the .40 S&W version.

I'll post an update once I get it in.

The 40cal version will be my next purchase. Unless…. They make a 5.7 FPC!
