Convert belt loop to crossdraw clips?

I'm probably going to get a revolver with a 6" barrel. I'm most likely going to get a holster from Bianchi as they just tend to do leather right. However, the one I want is a side belt loop. What I'd like is something that clamped on to that holster, and allowed me to turn it sideways with (preferably) a pair of clips that let me slide the holster onto and off of my belt from a crossdraw / more horizontal position. I'm aware a narrower belt will allow some play, but I'm looking for a solution where I don't have to take the belt on and off to remove the (holstered) sidearm. Thanks...

*edit. Here's a pic of holster backside. Some kind of square clip that could match the belt with the leather gap in the middle is what I'm looking for. Someone must have done something similar...

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. My old duty holster (back in the revolver days with low holsters) had a swivel that allowed sitting in the patrol car without it riding up. The problem is that it put the grip against the seat back. Not good if you had to pull while sitting in the car. It also had a snap to hold it vertical while standing but the holster couldn't be removed easily from the Sam Browne belt.

Is this for CC or OC on a standard dress belt? I think any kind of "adaptor" would add too much thickness to the set up so a custom holster may be needed.

Is something like this what you are thinking about?
It is a DeSantis dual angle Hunter crossdraw.
The gun is Ruger's New Model Super Blackhawk .44 Manum.

Bianchi 111 is a great general use cross draw holster.....it will only ride behind one belt loop ........ depending how you thread your belt.

Right hand crossdraw... gun on left........ put the buckle on the right ....thread clock-wise.

Bianchi holsters are descent quality production line holsters but tend to be a bit on the thick side. In conjunction with a 6" barrel gun it's gonna be a hell of a package to tote around for very long. Sitting is not going to be comfortable either. Before investing big bucks on a CCW carry rig see if any of your friends have a revolver and holster like you have in mind and try and walk, sit and carry it for a few hours just in his house.

6 inch barrels are great and I have many - just don't choose to carry them. YMMV

check the holster manufactures accessory page and look for a clip you can attach or if you have a spare magazine holster you can take the clip off of it and try it .. there's enough leather to attach the clip with 2 screws .. backing with a piece of plastic might help stiffen it ..

Thanks wabit. That's exactly what I'm doing. I've cut apart one of these paddle holsters, and trimmed the attachment plastic with a dremel. It fits nicely behind the leather, and the two bolts will go right through the forward slot. I need to pick up some longer bolts (probably need washers as the flange bolts seem hard to find), but it will be perfect when done.
