Convert S&W 1911 9MM to .45?

Please excuse my ignorance. I recenty purchased An S&W 1911 Stainless 9MM built by the Pro Shop. Would it be possible to send this in to the Pro Shop & fit a .45 caliber barrel to it?

At the least, it will require an entire top end, plus slide stop. Given the ejector, and feed ramp angle will work.
