Could a Shield be made to do this?

Sure it could....for the very low cost of $100,000 and ten years of your life being hosted at your local Federal Penitentiary.

Ever shoot full auto at night with tracers??? :D

Believe me, the fun isn't over in 15 minutes!!! Especially if you have some 'old ammo' the sarge says we gotta burn up!!! ;)

It could but why?? buy a Glock 18 and it does it all ready. Its a full auto Glock. and you can buy that 100 mag for the Glock.

But again, why?

He's not Russian. He lives in Georgia.

really? Humm, not sure about that. His accent is definitely Russian or one of the other Check countries.

His videos are very well known. I have no clue how in the world he gets his hands on the weapons he does but he has access to some very serious weapons including mini guns and ultra modern stuff to like the fully automatic M1A 12ga shotguns. The stuff he gets hold of is pretty insane and I find it hard to believe that the nastiest stuff is legal in any state. I mean, are you telling me it is legal to own and operate a mini gun in the states? Where?

Also, he is VERY well funded. I can't even imagine the cost of the ammo he goes through let alone the weapons themselves. In one of his videos he purposely shoots a mini gun full on for like a minute and a half just to get the barrels to glow red hot. Mini guns shoot in the thousands of rounds per minute. I have also seen him use bombs and remote controlled aircraft with bombs to blow stuff up.

How does someone in the US get that stuff?

Yes. It creates a great light show. Did the range NCO keep yelling "6 round bursts" as you ran through the extra ammo?

About the only full autos I liked were belt fed. Those who have never fired a real machine gun may not appreciate the capabilities. If I could see it, I could quickly take it out fast, and I am not the best long range shooter. There is a reason you do not rush a machine gun; it is suicide.

He lives in Georgia on a big piece of land, and yes the guns he shoots are legal. He get's paid a ridiculous amount of money to make these videos, and also makes money from having his own youtube channel with the amount of traffic he provides the site. He also sponsors a gun shop in Georgia, so they provide the guns and ammo for him to make the videos with.. but he does own a helluva lot of nice guns himself. He also gets his explosives and everything else he needs to make the videos from several big name companies. It's great publicity and advertising for them with the amount of views fpsrussia's videos get; so they just toss him whatever he wants.

The guys loaded, and you know what that gets you in the states... a whole lotta freedom to do what you want.

Plus he's got one hell of a fake russian accent

Edit: He is paid and sponsored by Machinima to make these videos

When you say Georgia I assume you mean the state and not the country. Interesting. So it is legal to own a mini gun in the state of Georgia. I have always wanted a Barrett for no other reason than just to own and try one out but if I were to pick between a Barrett and a mini gun . . . hands down get the mini gun. What a rush that thing must be. What gun shop in Georgia do you go to that carries mini guns? What do they cost?

Also, just wondering, how do you know this about the guy?

Fake accent.

Where he gets the guns, I don't know. Maybe he has a friend at ATF or Blackwater.

Kyle Lamar Myers (born May 5, 1986) is an American YouTuber.[1] He is notable for his portrayal of a Russian, Dmitri Potapoff, on the YouTube channel FPSRussia. Myers was rasied and born in Georgia.

FPSRussia is a YouTube channel where Myers portrays a Russian named Dmitri Potapoff while shooting guns at targets or fruit.[2][3] The FPSRussia reached the 1 million subscriber mark in June 2011.[4] As of May 2012 the FPSRussia YouTube channel has over 2.3 million subscribers and 413 million video views.[5][6] Due to the success of FPSRussia, Myers opened up a second channel, MoreFPSRussia, which currently has over 273k subscribers and over 4.1 million video views as of May 2012.[7] Myers collaborated with EpicMealTime in July 2011.[8] The collaboration has earned over 5.6 millon video views as of May 17, 2012. Myers has several different equipment and weapons that have been featued in his videos such as a golden AK-47, an armored troop carrier[9], and a quadrotor.[10]

I have a buddy that plays paintball with him every now and then. The story behind that fake accent came from him working with a russian for a while, so he got really good at talking like that. Which is partly why he gets so many hits on those videos.

I wouldn't mind having a constant supply of "in the red" exploding targets like he's got.. and the beauty of it is, he just says their name and that's enough for them.

But again, why?

No one but law inforcement agencies or the military can own a Glock Model 18 (with the exception of a licensed dealer to demo them to the above.) None were made prior to 1986 so none can be owned by US civilians.
