After drooling over the 15-22 each time I went to the local shops I finally gave in a couple of weeks ago. I have three AR's, each in a different caliber and am really impressed with how S&W came up with a design that so closely matches the design and function of the "big brothers." Ser. # is DTX 1***.
I have put about 600 rounds of Fed. bulk through her and the rifle has functioned well. About once in 75 rounds or so I get a standing cartridge in the mouth of a magazine which seems magazine related more than the fault of the rifle.
Accuracy is good. I just shot 50 rounds at a swinging/reset target that has plates about 2" square. At 50 yards resting on my trailer box I only had 5 misses out of the 50 shots.
