I liked Dwight Yoakam-after him i never cared for the new country.

I agree with you completely about your quote regarding Dwight. He was the last country singer I enjoyed before I started listening to talk radio. I much prefer my country to be traditional, with the cryin' steel "geetars".

Three years ago, a friend asked us to go to the big city with him and his wife to see a real "Country Show".

We had great seats to see.................Kenny Chesney and Gretchen Wilson. It was entertaining, but it sure wasn't country. My friend asked me what I enjoyed most, and I told him "The beer and eye candy (Kenny's fans)".
