I had a wonderful weekend at the Tulsa Gun show and drove back from Tulsa to Nashville in the rain with a couple very special guns in tow. Loved meeting new friends and seeing old ones (not literally lol)
I was very fortunate to become the new owner of this exquisite piece of Smith and Wesson lore.
Here are a few pics I did this am ….enjoy
Model 29-5, Classic DX with custom factory engraving by John Pease. It was shipped on March 17, 1992. My late father's birthday.

John Pease, gifted craftsman

We, as S&WCA Members have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet Mr. Pease in person at several of our annual gatherings, now called Symposiums. Not only is he very talented he is also a very nice person. Not sure if he is still employed by S&W or one of their competitors but he does great work, congratulations on the acquisition.
