Craft Holsters

I was looking for a concealed carry holster for my Glock 43X that I recently purchased. I found Craft Holsters online, which looked like a well made leather holster, so I ordered one. I received notification this morning that it had been shipped and when I checked the tracking number, I was shocked to see that it was being shipped from Slovakia. I saw nothing on their website when I ordered it that said it was made overseas.

Yes, a lot of the production holsters you see online (Amazon, etc.) are manufactured overseas. They are still nicely made holsters and use quality leather- they're just not fabricated in the USA. That's why the prices are so much lower than custom leather holsters made here. Craft happens to be partnered with Falco and both are manufactured in Slovakia. Other production holsters are fabricated overseas in Germany, Italy, Mexico, South Africa, and elsewhere. A few, like 1791 Gunleather, send their quality USA steerhides to Mexico where craftsmen fabricate the holsters. I don't need a high-priced custom holster for most of my handguns, so I don't mind buying some of these holsters if I plan to wear them where they might get some rough use.

A lot of holsters come from overseas. I have a couple of Craft holsters and have no beef with them. I order a Luger holster from Masc some while back and was surprised when the DHL package came from Turkey. I have since ordered two other holsters from them. No complaints about either the workmanship or the leather.

Craft holsters are made in both Slovakia and Italy, depending on the model. It does state this on their web-site, or used to. It takes a bit of looking to find that information. They are excellent holsters, don't worry about where they are made!

At least according to the ads that keep popping up, there are also Slovakian women just waiting for their perfect match. maybe you'll get a photo and phone number along with your new holster.

Because of another string, I looked at Craft's website. They have a pretty low cost cross draw holster (leather and nylon) that I suspect will work well for a driving holster for a reasonable price.

I’ve had one for my Glock 21 for years and it’s a very solid product.

I have several from Craft. Good quality and fit, you will not be disappointed. The shipping comes fairly fast, considering how far it has to go. They made a holster for my Sig 210C and I had trouble finding anyone who made one.

I do not have a lot of holsters, never did, I had the one in the picture made by C Rusty Sherrick when I lived in PA. The gun is a Glock 36. The holster is horsehide, and no matter how hard you shake it, the gun will not fall out. That was about 20 years ago

I have a Kramer on order for my Dan Wesson PM-C 9mm.

Some how, I can not wrap my head around a Slovakian holster. To me it screams , Here let me put some Chinese tires on my 100K Mercedes SUV.

I do however look to Slovakia for amplifier tubes. They make the best.
