Want to know how anybody that might have Crimson Trace grips, models 207 or 306 on K frame likes or dislikes these grips. Thanks for the info

I have a pair of LG-207 on an N-frame model 57 and I like them. I think that a defensive gun so equiped is the cat's meow !

The instructions with my grips say they can be mounted to a K-frame and has a spacer to do so. I have never had them on a K.

The wife and I have them on our 44 Mag S&W Mountain Guns.

We like them.
They work great on running varmints in low light.

pipe, I have 207s on my Aussie 10-8. This is the 3rd gun that they have been on. ( I get bored easily ) But can point, not aim and fire quickly. The laser factor can be intimidating to a potential bad guy also! They are not beautiful, but fit in my hand well. They also (C.T.) used to have free batteries for life. (1 set a year) Bob

I have 2 on K's 1 on J. They are worth their weight in gold. Inside, cloudy, dusk, or at night they are 100% visible. As a 'point shooting' training tool they are priceless.

I have the 306 on my wifes model 66 snub and it works well for her. She has confidence in her ability to hit a target that was not there before.

I have used the hog hunter model 308 (?) and the boot grip style (sorry can't remember the model) crimson trace for round butt K frames. I found the hog hunter felt great and compared to a hogue monogrip or pachmyer gripper professional, only a little narrower. The texture of the overmold is a little firmer than the hogue rubber and maybe a little softer than pachmyer rubber. As a point of comparison, I like K frame round or square butts with service grips and a tyler T. The boot grip style CT for round Ks is a little too narrow for my taste and feels a little closer to a service grip without grip adaptor due to the narrow width, allowing my fingers to wrap around the grip a little more than I like. The boot style conceals well though and if that is the priority, you should be happy with it. Of the two, I really like the hog hunter for feel whether you have the laser activated or not. The grips are nicely made and help quite a bit for low light and point shooting practice. Hope this helps
