What's your opinion on a good price for a CS45 LNIB with 2 mags?

Is $650 too much?

I've seen them priced at or reported sold at (on this and other gun forums) anywhere from 350-700. Thats quite a range I know, my impression is that most in very good to excellent condition seem to sell for 500 or so. They are apparently somewhat highly sought after guns at the moment. Which also means they are a little scarce. They are IMO excellent CC pistols. Small/concealable, fairly accurate, very reliable with all types ammo, reasonably comfortable to shoot. I have the CS in 9, 40 and 45. I like them all. Anything over 600 seems kinda high to me but guess that what one is willing to pay depends on how badly you "gotta have it". One thing I think is very true is that it seems to be the rare individual who has ever been sorry he or she bought one. Hope this is helpful. Good luck.

That's a good price for NIB. Somebody's being a little too ambitious asking that for a used one. They are getting very hard to find so people are going to see what they can get. Depends on how badly you want it.

650 isn't a bad price for a CS45 NIB considering the whole Chief's Special line is getting very hard to find in the resale market because people are realizing just how good these pistols are and they are keeping them. For reference I bought my CS9 New In Box from a distributor who bought out the CS inventory @ a discount for 595 dollars.I have seen the CS45 going between 600 to 750 dollars. The final question you have to ask yourself is the 650 dollars worth it to kill the "Gotta have it now" beast. If it were me I would get it because it may be a very long time before you see another one in NIB condition @ a lower price......God Bless.....Mike

2nd CS45 topic almost in a row.
Said on the other one that I paid 525 for mine. It was fired very little w/ 2 mags. It was dirty ... but it cleaned up nice.
I went back to order another magazine for it and the guy behing the counter told me that 2 - 3 other guys had come in asking if he still had it. You can be pretty sure that if you don't buy it ... someone else will.

I saw one in the factory box with two magazines for $525 at a large gun show and felt sorry to have passed it by. However, I recently bought a good-very good condition CS45 with dimming though usable night sights and four factory magazines for $399 OTD.

Check the classifieds, you could find a bargin there. Maybe a CS9 or CS40 could fit your needs. Good hunting
