CS9 DAO Double Strike

I have been shopping for a decent CS9 for quite sometime. I know that there is a CD9D variant that is DAO. My question is:

1. Is the CS9D configured like a 3953 that is halfway pre-cocked WITH NO double strike capability?

-or-

2. Is the CD9D configured like a 3914DAO that is not halfway pre-cock WITH double strike capability?

The CS9D has double strike capability. It is not set up for the halfway pre-cock stuff you refer to. I have one and like it a lot. It has been completely reliable and very shootable, even with the long double-action pull.
