CSX E-Series question

Just got mine yesterday but
Removing the slide is a two-man operation one to hold the slide in position and the other two tap out the pin with a hammer and a punch.

Does it get easier with continued firing or continued manipulation of the slide release

Yes it does get easier but it is still kind of a pain. They should have put witness marks on the right side of the frame and slide (ala CZ) to assist in getting & keeping the two properly aligned so you can push out the slide stop pin. If the 2 are even the slightest out of alignment then that slide stop on the left IS NOT going to come out. I take my EDC CSX down every week to wipe it down and I have gotten better at it but it still stumps me some days.
There is a thread with a couple of ideas to assist with takedown.

Thanks...I was starting to think I was the only DA that could not get it out by myself....I sure hope it frees up a bit with usage
