anybody try one of these yet? how is it?

Brilliant - literally - 100 lumens - hit the bad guy in the eyes and he'll have a tough time aiming at anything - you'll have a very clear view of what you need to shoot - high-capacity battery - the mount goes on the Picatinny at the front but also grasps the bottom of the trigger guard - a ton of stability - on/off master switch up front if you don't want it turning on - otherwise your natural grasp of the grip will include the pressure switch and your photons are on the job.

I agree with what marty said. I bought one for my wife for Christmas for her nightstand M&P40fs, and as soon as I free up some funds I'll be ordering one for mine.

No it won't fit the compacts.
