It only cost me $600.00. After years of looking at and fondling these things, and hours of watching YouTube videos, I ordered a Palmetto State Armory AK 47 rifle. The rivets are flush and tight, the barrel and receiver are straight, the front sight is centered, the base for the optics mount is straight. The folding Zhukov stock locks tight and is adjustable for LOP. The finish is very good.

I bought a spare mag and a sling. I think a optic and mount and a few more mags will complete the package. I won’t accumulate anything else for this rifle until I shoot it this weekend.

Overall I am extremely pleased with this US made AK.

Nice rifle. when I move to SC, out of PRNY, one of their red furniture ones s on the list to buy.

I have my Romanian and love it! ;) It’s one I won’t give up!
Lots of enjoyment with yours!

From what I can tell from videos made in third world countries, you don't really have to aim an AK. You just hold it up and shoot and/or just point it in the air and let her rip. Don't shoot straight up though....bullets eventually come down.

A business colleague was in her hotel room in Chile one night when the citizens began to celebrate something. She looked out and they were blasting their AKs in the air. She felt like crawling under the bed.

Perfect niche gun for holding one handed aloft and emptying a mag into the air whilst proclaiming Allahu akbar!

The AK47 is perhaps the most politically incorrect firearm one can own. Period. It is useless for anything other than making a lot of noise and looking like a terrorist
I own one with 5 thurdies. On the streets it's called "a choppa" ;) :D

I understand your train of thought, as an American. People from other countries may associate the 1911, Tommy gun, Garand, US M1 .30 carbine firearms with capitalism and world interference/domination. Native Americans probably considered Colts and Winchesters terrorist weapons.

Cool, now go and order a "Binary Trigger" for it from Fostech and rock-n-roll! The most fun you can have legally without going full auto, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner, totally legal here in GA too.

Native Americans.......Our Indians threw down their stick and string as soon as they could lay hands on those Colts and Winchesters.

Looks a lot nicer than the 150 AMD-65s I had. Those functioned well, but looked and felt cheaply built.

BTW, I was the training supervisor at a regional training (police) academy in NE Afghanistan. I also had 750,000 rounds of ammo. :D

Yes, some AK variants look God awful yet most of them function well enough.
Did you blast through all the ammo?

I think you should go all out and have it gold plated.
I’ve seen and held two that were. I felt sooper macho.
Then I had to hand it back to the comandante. Sigh.
