Current Bianchi 5BHL Review

I recently got a used Model 64-2 with 2" barrel and part of the deal was a neat little 5BHL holster. This is some nice old equipment. It was actually used for carrying a duty gun at one time. But a 2" K Frame and 5BHL are an odd combination in this day and age and I'm not sure I'll have a need for this holster.

I believe there is a place for exposed trigger holsters and DA revolvers, even if patrol is not one of them. Some of the best gunfighters in history used such equipment and we can not dismiss it simply because it is not appropriate for the lowest common denominator. Many can still do great work with these holsters, even if they are best left to concealed carry.

I have two 5BHLs from the early 90s. One basketweave. One plain.

Was thinking of selling the basketweave but might hang onto it with this news.

Having owned it all these years though I have never really know the "correct" way to thread it onto the belt (I can hear you snickering).

Does the belt "loop" created by the two slots go on the inside or outside of the belt?
