Does anyone know of any custom gun leather makers making IWB holsters that will accommodate handguns with red dot and/or lightguard? I'm asking specifically for an M&P but my guess is that if a maker makes for M&P they'll likely make for other manufacturers as well.

I'm asking specifically for IWB LEATHER, I know Raven and a few others make kydex solutions. Kydex for me is preferable, except on occasions where you must take the holster off leaving it in the car with windows up to bake in the south Florida heat. I'd hate to order a phantom light holster custom only to have it deform for unGodly temperatures the interior of the car can reach.

Thank you fellas in advance!

Hidden Hybrid Holsters will do their best to accommodate special requests for firearms with lasers/lights. These are hybrid holsters with a beautiful leather back and Kydex custom molded front. Wait time for mine was 4-6 weeks but I had it in 2&1/2. However, no special laser or light mod was needed.

It's part kydex though, kydex's weakness is that it can deform under intense heat. That's why I was looking for an all leather option. I prefer kydex, just don't trust it in the heat.

Kitty and Gary at aenelson.com will be glad to chat with you. They made me a summer special for my 2 1/2 in k frame to die for. Reasonable prices short wait. I WISH I got something for shilling but only trying to help a fellow out.

I think you meant nelsonleather.com... aenelson.com is a farm and ranch realtor in Texas!!

Senility strikes me again! Thanks for helping me send him in the right direction.
At least I still remember the bullet comes out the pointy end of the gun.

I know that after a gun itself the most important thing we need to buy is a holster if we plan to carry our weapon, I know too that the holster is something that has to be well made because it plays an important part of gun safety protecting the trigger as we carry our firearm but some time ago did a research about hybrid holsters and got surprised how easy and cheap to make they are!!! Total cost of a hybrid holster is around $8.00 and just 1 and 1/2 hour man’s work!!!! Why these companies take so long to make a holster and why they charge us dozens if not hundreds of dollars for something they just expend less than 10 bucks? Never got a reasonable answer.

I have two holsters from Mccabes for my Shield. I bought a leather IWB holster to wear with shorts and an OWB Avenger style holster to wear in the weather under a jacket or sweatshirt. Both are excellent holsters. He does custom work and has holsters for sale for the Shield with Lasermax sight.

And I second McCabes. I have an IWB for my Shield and it is sweet. He does great work and the holster is top quality. I would highly recommend him and his work.
