Smith never made a blue steel Mountain Gun in 45 ACP, so I had one made from a M25-2 and a Model 1950 tapered barrel.
As the MGs all came with a round butt I had that done as well. It's now one of my favorites 4" N-frames, vying for first place with a Model 1950 44 Target.
My every day carry revolver (besides my 642). A smith and wesson 386 Mountain Lite 3.1 inch barrel, 7 shot with a smoothed action, chamfered charge holes, bobbed hammer, extreme duty fixed rear sight, xs standard dot front sight and hideout grips. This revolver is about 19 ounces of 7 shot .357 magnum fun... which makes it the finest .38 Special +P revolver in the world
There are some nice guns here. I have one at the gunsmith right now. It will be a K frame long action with a 41/2" PPC bbl and rib cut to match. Its for a double action only league I shoot each year. Its also being re-blued. Larry
