Hi all,

I bought the CYA holster (linked below) for my wife. She was playing around with the hex screws on the belt clip to adjust the angle, and the screws came entirely out. Does anyone have one of these who can take a look at it and tell me how these are supposed to go back together? Each screwhole has 4 pieces. My real question is where the rubber washer goes. Does it go inside the holster or out? Thanks in advance!

Not An Expert Here

I think the rubber washer goes on the tensioning screw between the front and back faces of the holster (the one closest to the trigger guard, inside). There maybe a spacer or hard plastic washers that go on the screw farther out toward the muzzle.

My thoughts are the same. Tightening the screw mashes the rubber washer, putting tension on the gun.

Thanks to both of you. There are four pieces. The top of the screw goes into a housing, then there is the belt clip, and then the holster itself, and then the nut that the screw goes into. I'm trying to figure out if the rubber washer goes between the inside of the holster and the nut or if it goes between the belt clip and the holster itself. Thanks.

Looking from the inside of the holster you have the female nut which has a slot for a standard screwdriver, then the holster shell, rubber washer, belt clip, metal washer then the hex head bolt. There is a slot on the forward screw hole in the holster that allows you to adjust the cant or that's the way mine looks. I think the rubber washer flexes some so the clip is not kydex against kydex.

Perfect, thank you! Only question now is what you mean by holster shell. I don't see a piece like that. Thanks again.
