Dallas Gun Show

I would call it a report except it's not my report - I had lunch this afternoon with 7 old boys who all went to the Dallas Market Hall guns show today. I was invited but chose to not deal with walking around for hours - too tough on my knees. They got there around 1030 or 11 AM. The line was around the building and it is a large building! Waited nearly an hour and a half to get inside the building and then another half hour plus to get through the airport security style, long, snaking back and forth lines (at least it was air conditioned in there). The show was PACKED inside, of course, and the prices were through the roof. My friends spent less than two hours there and then I met them for a late lunch.

Apparently, being the first gun show in Dallas in months, and the gun buying frenzy even affecting folks here, it was a zoo!!!!!

I sure miss going to the gun shows. I guess I'm not ready to get that close to that many people yet.

The gun shows here have been packed as the populace looks for protection and we look for our missing "artifacts".

I had heard the Dallas Arms Collectors had relocated to another venue. Is this a different bunch at Market Hall?

Thanks for the report. I was thinking of attending the show on June 11 and 12 in Fletcher NC near Asheville. Don't know if it's worth going.

I haven't been to a gun show in over three months, and probably won't go to another until the COVID-19 madness dies down however long that takes. I don't need any more guns, and I am certain there are very few good buys at gun shows at present anyway.

DACA moved their show to South Fork Ranch. The Market Hall show is now done by Premier, the company that does the big Ft. Worth Show.

My FFL friend who I usually help do the shows set up at the Dallas Mkt hall show this weekend. He’s sold more guns than ever before in one show. Said guns were “fly off the tables”. I didn’t go as I’m in the high risk Group for CV19.

What armadillo said! Totally correct. But Premier might be done at Market Hall, too.

I'm looking forward to going up to Southfork Ranch for a gun show. The exhibit hall there is pretty nice but not gigantic if I recall correctly. It's been awhile since I was there.
