Quite true. I hope it happens this time, but until I get a real job, it's a moot point for me.

IMO my Monson era 15-2 is the equal of any S&W in terms of shootability. The trigger is to die for.

And the blue ones were drop dead pretty, too!

I'm wondering if the funky cylinder latch put off a lot of people?

I have a Dan Wesson 6" .357Mag.

I honestly don't remember the part number and it's not on the gun. It's either a 15 or a 715 target model. I bought it new in 1992 or 1993.

I still have the 15-2 that I bought new in 1981. It came with the 2" barrel and I later bought a 6" barrel for it. They went way down in price and it is a bargain if you can find one today.

They quote 46 oz in the the text. A 686 with a 6" tube cannot be much less.

For that $, I'd stick with a PC revolver.

The interchangeable barrels make for an interesting selling point, but I see nothing else that would displace any S&W I currently own.

Looks like a really nice gun. I have DW 1911 one of my favorites. I'll have to search around for one to check it out.
