Dan Wesson stuck ejector rod

since Dan Wesson was related to Wesson of S&W, this post is allowed here
i have a stuck cylinder ejector rod, will not unscrew from the extractor…..hopefully there are some tricks other than vise grip pliers, which i have gently tried with blue tape on the ejector

Put a few drops of a good penetrating oil like Kroil on it and let it do its magic

I don't know about Wesson revolvers, but on S&W's it unscrews counter-clockwise, so it is at least possible you have been tightening the rod....

it unscrews counter clockwise
