Lol! What else is a gym good for?!?!?!

I stopped going to gyms. Signed up with a personal trainer and my workouts are now much better. More focused, better results. It costs more but I definitely feel I'm getting my money's worth

Next time you are on the treadmill for 30 minutes, look at the display and see how many calories you burned. Then look at the label and see how many calories are in that handful of free candy.

PF knows what they are doing.

The health Club I belong to just puts apples and other Fruits on the Counter for the Members.Maybe a tootsie roll wouldn't be bad.

Planet Fitness near me brings in free pizza every Wednesday. I think it's a horrible practice to tempt people with that. But then again sometimes I go just to enjoy all the bouncing.. uhm, I mean the nice view at the stairmaster.

I always go to PF early in the morning, before 9am..PF also offers Bagels on certain days..With cream cheese.Only had it once, bagels and cream cheese ? I just can't eat one..:(

Blue Cross has a program called Healthways that gives you access to any or as many participating gyms and health clubs for $25 a month.
I've got three gyms in my area that go to. Down side is none of my gyms give me food.

I'll bet free Bloody Mary's in the morning would draw a crowd.

They said wear loose fitting clothes. If I had loose fitting clothes I wouldn't need a gym.

What's a gym?

Funny story, when I told my old USMC buddy my wife and I had joined a Gym, he laughed..I asked him what was so funny ?
His reply " WE have renamed our " John" to Jim, so when people ask us if we have been to gym, we can truthfully answer YES, quite often"....:) :)

Never could do them gym thing. I did like some of the sights, but still got bored. Now I can out the leash on the Akita and we will go anywhere from 3-6 miles in an outing. That usually means walking at a fast pace when not jogging. And stopping at the park for some sets of pull-ups and then 50 push-ups when I get home. Still plenty of sights plus the pet is getting her exercise also. And if I dont want to go she usually talks me into it.
