Not really looking for an AR in .308/7.62x51 but Sportsmans Warehouse is blowing these ot for $1,800.

From what I've read these are well built rifles with some nice features and seem to be well regarded by their owners. Given that the cheapest I can find one elsewhere is $2,800 I thought this might be a deal worth making.

DD AR's are considered a top tier rifle and are built right with quality parts. Can't comment on the .308 version, but would assume it too is a quality rifle. I'm sure an internet search would reveal more info.

Thanks for the replies. Picked up one in black today. I like it. Apparently SW just recently started carrying DD products. Don't know if this deep discount on the price is kind of an introductory thing or maybe they just ordered too many?

Heck with the reason. $1800.00 is a good price for that rifle! I've had my DDM4 for a while now after a few Colt's, and a Bushmaster or 2), and it has been flawless. Go have fun with it.

Eric what BUIS and bipod are you running? I'm going to pull the Vortex Strikefire off my Sig 556 for the short term but I'd like to add BUIS as well as a bipod, once I get a scope picked out.

Both the front and rear flip-up sights are the Troy 'HK' style Battle Sights (no tritium and NOT the 'micro' model). The bipod is a GG&G XDS-2. It adjusts from 8" to 10.25" and has both pan & tilt features. I run a Aimpoint T1 Micro Red Dot along with a Burris 3X Magnifier on a LaRue QD Pivot mount, or, a Millett Designated Marksman Scope (DMS BK81624) 1-6x24 w/illuminated BDC Reticle on an American Defense QD Recon Mount. The Millett isn't the best scope, but, I really like the BDC reticle on it and, for the price, it works more than well enough for what I use it for.
