Darn bears should go back to stealing porridge

A friend placed a game camera at one of his elk licks and could not figure out who/what was messing with it so he placed a 2nd camera. (After having both elk and bears screw with my cameras I place every camera in a special box. Now all we get are the occasional close ups and nose and tongue prints)

when does black bear season start?

This location is up in BC. They have a 4/1-6/15 spring season and a 8/15-11/15 main season. Limit 2/season. Those spring bears have pretty spotty coats! I have a cabin up there but my hunting is done with a camera.

I think at least 3yo. I've seen plenty of 2 year olds still with mama and definitely smaller.
