Darrel has passed away, an avid collector of Smith & Wesson, a contributor to the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson. He will be missed by all who knew and associated with him on the gun show

I was notified the morning after he passed away...Darrel was first class people...I know of a few instances in which he unselfishly helped others, even at his own risk...His tables at the Conroe show were adjacent to mine, and we traded information, watchful eyes, and even guns from time to time...I am trying at this time to secure his tables in addition to mine as I think it would be a fitting tribute to see his tables full of S&W's, rather than beef jerky and Kydex holsters...
