Date of birth for a 686 no dash

I got a police tradein that has a serial number of AJR8552 it also has the letters C10 upside down and look to be hand stamped as the "0" is double struck it also has 556X5 on it

What do all these mean

Chuck ,the ser # prefix AJR was produced in the last half of 1985. All the other numbers are assemblers #s and have no significance.
