Date of manufacture for my M642?

Greetings, All,

I am thinking that my first Model 642 was made in 2009, but I'd love to know for sure. The serial # is CMBXXXX. Anyplace where I can find this information? The fired round which S&W sends with each new gun, is in it's envelope, and that envelope is dated 04/02/2009. That's why I think mine was made around then. I'd appreciate any suggestions you might be able to offer. Thanks, very much, and God Bless!

CMBxxx = 2004 but the fired case is probably a better indicator of the date. Do you have the original box that it came in?
