Dating a SW Model 36

Looking to date a model 36 I just purchased. The serial is J7916XX.

Looks to be a 1981 shipped gun. Does it have the pinned barrel (it would be a later one if so)? Hope this is helpful.

I dated a Model that was 36, boy was my wife furious! My newly acquired 36 is a 1981 non-pinned example. Makes no difference to me. What is there not to like about a 36? Enjoy it! Bob
