For those of you who are of my generation...Dean Ford, vocalist for the group Marmalade passed away at the age of seventy-two. From complications relating to Parkinson's.

Their huge hit was "Reflections of My Life", released in 1969.

He was Scottish, born Thomas McAleese in 1946.

His demons can't hurt him any more.

R.I.P. Dean Ford.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing. You are right that his struggles are over and the demons he faced here can no longer get to him. I hope he has gone to a better place, a beautiful place to live.

Also just recently the Captain from Captain and Tennille-just to note that we're losing them with a greater frequency lately.

Quoting from Country Living:

"Daryl Dragon AKA "Captain" of the iconic music duo Captain & Tennille passed away on Wednesday, January 2 at 76 years old. According to the Associated Press, he died of renal failure at a hospice in Prescott, AZ.

The legendary keyboard player's ex-wife and longtime professional partner, Toni Tennille, was by his side at the time of his death. CNN reports they married in 1975 and finalized their divorce nearly 40 years later in 2014, but that they remained close following the separation. She even moved back to Arizona to help care for him."
