It is with humility and extreme respect that I offer my thanks to the men and women who fought and won The Second World War. I was fortunate to have been raised at a time when most were still with us and watched as they proceeded
to build the most powerful and compassionate nation on earth.

On this day, 71 years ago, 2,402 Americans were killed and 1,282 wounded at Pearl Harbor. A date which will live in infamy

America would go on to defeat her enemies and help preserve freedom and liberty for the rest of the world.

Pearl Harbor should remind us that Freedom is not free.
