Today I went to a gun show I seldom go to (Vallejo, CA) and it turned out to not be a waste of time. I got some ammo, some bullets and a few odds and ends. And a Colt 1903 Pocket Hammer at a decent price. It was tagged at $595, I got it for $550. Finish is mostly gone but it is not horrible. It is complete and seems to be functioning correctly. (Strange, but they wouldn't let me test fire it at the gun show. How unhelpful of them.)

I hope to be able to pick up a couple of more mags for it. I wonder if the mags for my 1902 Military will fit it? I will find out when I get it home, which won't be for a bit. I will try to post photos and a range report when available.

The same vendor had several other oldies but goodies at reasonable prices, but that is the one that tweaked my interest the most. A Colt .25 auto came close, but I already have one, so.....

I've been reloading for an old Pocket Hammer for a few years. Not much finish on the slide, but still reliably functions after 110 years. Interesting old guns, but I'm real glad JMB pistol design did not end with these very early 1900s types..
