Good for you, finding the screw! My basement floor has several gun parts hidden on it! Each spring-loaded part tried to take out an eyeball. Once I got lucky and got a 1911 part slammed into my forehead. I think it's the cap thing that holds the spring inside the slide thing. (Sorry for all the technical terms!)
 
It looks like you're just missing the circlip that holds the screw on the sight tang. If that's the case, you can clip a coil off a properly sized coil spring and use that as a replacement. You will need to flatten out the coil with small pliers to make it into a clip that snaps into the groove on the bottom half of the screw head. The bottom part is tapered to help you get it in place.
 
Their Customer Service was really great when they were still in Huntingdon Beach, Calif. I lost a screw out of a Millett Sight on a M1911. Stopped in their storefront and asked the young lady about getting the required part. She went in the back and came with a bag of 5 screws. Told her I only needed one and she said "Now you have spares." Was impressed by the courtesy.
