There are many disappointed people in world starting this New Year. As you recall back in July, I was found to have stage 3/Stage 4 Lung cancers with a bleak end life quality picture. It looks as though they now will have to wait to relish my demise.
Projection was 6-12 painful months remaining life expectancy yet today I feel better than I did then.
Maybe I did something right for a change. Now no one offers projection. That is fine by me.
I will try to see y’all on the forum maybe a little longer – and please remember good wishes for My Darling Bride of 42 years now.
Thanks

My friend's father was told that his cancer was terminal and that he would die within weeks - three times. He died 34 years after the original diagnosis - in a car wreck at age 92. Only God knows, carry on!

ChinaSeaSailor, we hope to see you here in the forums a lot longer!

Take Care my S&W Friend......

Prayers for you and your wife. Life isn't guaranteed but death isn't either. Doctors have been wrong so many times.

Charlie

Each day we have is a gift from the good Lord, it is our job to enjoy each of those days and to make the most of them.

Glad you are feeling better.

Godspeed Shipmate! Prayers sent and will continue for you and your family.

God Speed and I totally agree with Charlie - many times the medical profession has made mistakes so enjoy the day and prayers sent for you and your bride.

Prayers for you and your wife. Many, many folks have fought cancer and won against all the odds. I'd bet that you'll soon be another of them. You've got some fight in you, and that's what it takes. Good on ya, Sailor.

Me to,

I to was dianosed in March of 11 with a 8cm cancer tumor in the upper right lung. I received 36 radition treatment and 3 chemo treatments.

The tumor is now gone and I feel OK. There might still be some cancer in the body.

Now the sad part one of my twins Donna age 47 past away on Christmas day after fighting ovarion cancer for 4.5 years. It was a blessing to see her go, lots of pain the last 2 months.

I hope the very best for both of us. Like they say, never every give up.

Allow me commend your spirit and offer encouragement along with prayers for healing.

Cancer is often a terrible situation, but those of us in medicine cannot account for your toughness and ability to resist.

May God grant you peace and well being. We really want you to prevail.

Prayers have been sent for you and your wife. May our Lord and Savior bless you with His healing touch; may He give you wisdom and insight as you continue to deal with your illness and may you be at peace as you live each day.

Blessings,
Hog

From one old squid to another - I wish you and your bride nothing but fair winds and following seas.

So sorry you had to lose a child....it should never happen to anyone.

Sailor, make the most of it! Meanwhile, I've sent prayers to the Big Guy. It doesn't end here. You know that, right?
