I traded too much, but it was with #1 son, so I guess what I gave doesn't matter a whole lot.

We did shoot it for the first time since he's had it and I can understand why people with light weight .357s don't shoot them a whole lot and this one isn't what I would call light weight at 31 ounces unloaded.

We started with some 170 gr 358429s in .38 Special brass with 5.2 gr of SR 4756 and that was pretty mild mannered. Then we jumped to 6.5 gr of SR 4756 and things got a little more interesting. We never did get up to using The LOAD of 8.0 gr, but it would be doable, if it had some Grippers on it to prevent knuckle knocking.

I even shot the mouse gun, Titan .25 ACP, to collect some brass for cast bullet loads (Lyman 252435). :)

Well, you came up with one of the classics. I'm sure you will get years of enjoyment out of it.

Evidently this gun had sat on a shelf for years, which is the cause of the discoloration of the left grip. There's also a little discoloration of the frame in that same area, so maybe there was unnoticed moisture that caused all of that. Anyway, it wasn't shot much, so it's basically like new mechanically.

Of course, I needed another P&R with a "short cylinder" like I need another hole in my head. ;)
