Did model 15 revolvers ever come with the large wooden target grips? Or did they always have the smaller magna grips only?
I saw a model 15 at a gun store the other day, and it had the large target grips, and I thought, those probably aren't the original grips. Could those grips have been original, or am I right in assuming they must be replacement grips since model 15's all came with smaller magna grips? (until they switched to rubber, of course)
I just saw one on gunbroker like that too.

They could be ordered that way. I once bought a used one that had the target hammer, trigger, and diamond target grips. I'm sure that grip had come on the gun, but couldn't prove it of course, and it wasn't worth lettering to find out.

Man, I'm sorry I sold that one.

One of my Model 15's (a no dash) lettered with its original TH, TT and unrelieved TS...

Man, I'm glad I kept and lettered that one...:D...Ben
