Did S&W mfr nickel or ss finish model 24-3 3” ?

Can any of y'all tell me if S&W manufactured nickel or stainless-steel finish model 24-3s with a 3-inch barrel ?

There's no reference to nickel or stainless-steel finish model 24-3s with a 3-inch barrel in the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson 4th Edition.

As I recall they had special runs of nickle 24-3.

They also had runs of the 624-3 which are stainless steel.

I have a 624 no dash 3". It is of course a SS gun. Lew Horton, Ser.# ALWXXX. Sorry, I don't know if there was a -3, 3"

The 3" 24-3s were all blued. There is/was a 3" 24-6 in nickel, with the internal lock.
