I have a chance to buy a 4566. I know the 4516 went to a thinner guide rod with dual recoil springs around the -2 time frame. And I know they retrofitted some 4516-1's with the new guide rod assembly.
What about the 4566? I have never seen one with a dash, I think it went from 4566 to 4566 TSW\Tactical.
In any case, did the 4566 ever get the thinner guide rod with dual recoil springs?

Because I only had a short windows of time to make a decision, I decided to call S&W and wait on hold during lunch. The guy I talked to said that the 4566 never had any changes in the guide rod\recoil spring assembly, like the 4516 did...

sorry,a little excited and can't wait! I would like to know that myself.I don't recall seeing any dash 4566's just TSW like you said.If you message Fastbolt he will surely know more than likely better than S&W!
