Did the 66-1 ever ship with combat grips

I recently looked at a 66–1 at the local gun store. It’s beautiful and has SW round butt combat grips on it with original box. I can’t make out what the end label says with regards to the stocks. Price tag is 900

No, combat grips came on the scene in the early 1980s, after that 66-1. Grips alone will bring $200-250, so $900 for the complete package is a good deal.

Even if they are not original to the gun, dang are those some of the finest combats I have seen. That pattern is gorgeous
