I green with envy. 
So is the deck.

The green mold adds a nice dash of color to your photo backgrounds. I find it pleasing.
Besides, everybody keeps telling me to be kind to the Earth. 'Think Green' they tell me!

Keeping three old guns from the trash heap reduces my carbon footprint so much I can shoot of 3 boxes of ammo with no guilt whatsoever.

I always wash my deck when it turns green-if it doesn't come off it's time to get a professional involved.

I like a deck with character. Don't ruin it's potential resale value.

Shoot the deck and clean the guns.
Did my deck again last year. Oxyclean and hot water, commercial floor buffer with a stiff bristle brush, hand scrub the railing, Behr Premium clear weatherproofing... took three days, 'bout killed me. Go shooting!

The deck looks good. Here's another way to clean a deck that's a little less "labor intensive."
Put together a strong solution of TSP. Scrub the deck with it using a brush on a handle so your'e not down on your hands and knees - important point for we "senior citizens"
Rinse it off before the crud dries up.
Get some oxalic acid crystals (Ace hardware, etc.) and mix up a solution per the instructions. Mop it onto the deck and let it sit for awhile. Repeat if necessary to get the degree of "lightening" you're looking for. Rinse well and your'e DONE!

That's the problem with having too much stuff. Simplify. Imagine you don't have a deck and then the answer will appear very clear to you.
