In my recent move from NY to NC, I discovered that I had somehow lost the spent primer collector cup as well as the funnel-shaped knurled knob atop the primer feed tube for my Model 550.

I called Dillon Precision with my credit card handy. Didn't need the card. As a courtesy, they're sending me the two parts free of charge. Kudos to Dillon Precision.

In my move 4 years ago, I lost the Tool Head retaining pins. I took special care not to loose them, but they vanished anyway! Dillon CS had a new set on their way to me right away! About 2 years before that, the spent primer shoot, was sticking in the "dump" position (from 27 years of use the cotter pin hole was elongated), They got one to me, along with the rest of the assembly, right away!

****WARNING**** Thread Drift, but it's for food so that should be OK.

Welcome to the Carolinas y'all. :)

Back in 84 I moved to Cary from NY to work the Shearon Harris power station during construction. Out for a scenic ride west on 64 and discovered wonderful Carolina BBQ at the Lexington Barbecue, 100 Smokehouse Ln, Lexington, NC 27295. Still there. Check them out one day if you want to go for a spin.

Dillon's customer service is the best and has been since I started dealing with them in 1983. None better.

I'm not surprised with Dillons service. Read and heard of it many times already. I've been using a SDB for over 12 years now. Still waiting for something to break. Maybe in the next 12 years , something would at least wear out.

What I like even better is that I've had my 550B for 6 years now, loaded many thousands of rounds, and haven't needed any service. It just keeps cranking. Nice

I had a primer explosion about a year ago which I posted a thread about how Dillon was super to replace all the parts free although it would have been easy to put blame on me and still not sure it was not my fault. Well, after putting all the parts on, my 650 ran fine but never as smooth as it was new. After all they had done for me, I hated to call back, but one day I bit the bullet and called. I forgot the guy's name, but he was great. We went over several adjustments and he decided a few things might need to be replaced. Again, no charge and ask me when I go the parts in to call back when installing to make sure everything was adjusted right. I called back, installed while the rep was on the phone and he talked me though a few minor adjustments and now it runs smooth as silk. Maybe better than new. What I really liked, was he seemed to enjoy helping me and acted as if he had all the time in the world. I'm very mechanical, so it was a breeze but didn't hurt to have the expert talking me through everything. I figured they sent me around $300 worth of parts that I would have gladly paid for. Anytime I need any accessories such as ammo cases, polishing media etc. I just order it from them. Never compare prices. If I need it and Dillon sells it, that's where I get it. After the tech made sure everything was running correctly, I offered for the 10th+ time to pay for all the parts and I'll never forget his answer. "Don't worry about it, we got you". They do. A satisfied customer for life..

Dillon has NEVER let me or any of my friends down - they are THE BEST! I would not even think of buying another Brand after 35 years of owning their equipment.

5 years ago I sold my 30 year old Dillon SD-B and bought a 650 with all the gizmos and attachments - LOVE IT! The fella I sold my SD-B just recently sent it to Dillon for a complete overhaul. It came back like brand new and no charge of course!
