I been with them for many yrs and love their programming but lately have gone through a lot of troubles with their receivers.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'll have to go with the saying, If you have nothing good to say...don't say anything.

I will tell you...goodluck!

I'll tell ya.

Had'm didn't think things could get any worse. Dumped'm for the other guy. Man when you're wrong you're wrong. And I was.

I have been a customer for years and usually anything that I have had a problem with they made it right and in reasonable time. I have a friend that has had some issues with receivers as well, but they have been working with him trying to correct the problem. Most of the time my problems are with local channels. And it's on the end of the local network not Dish. I would give them a call and ask for a replacement if you haven't already. Persistence and kindness usually win out and get the problems resolved.

Switched about 4 yrs ago from DirectTV.
Did have a receiver go out and they made it right with in 1 week.
My bigest complaint has been the billing cycle..seems as soon as you pay you get that *** billing notice on the screen.
After having Time Warner and Direct they are the only one for me
right now

I've had them...

...for over ten years. Their service has been top flight, and their billings are reasonable.

I dumped Comcast Cable when I got the dish. No regrets.

had 'em for a short while, but here in Ohio, ANY cloud action and would lose the signal, rain AND snow.....last straw was called their "techie" one night, had an issues with moving the receiver to another room, and the young 'person' ( family show ain't it??) called me an "old man".....dropped 'em like a hot potato, AND with cable , I get to watch my Cleveland Indians again, wow, see they are in first place...pinch me before its OVER..........

I really enjoy their programming as I have their everything package. They have some great shooting programs.

My problem is I upgraded to their new receivers three years ago. Since then the receivers will either freeze up and have to be re-booted (taking several minutes) or will continue with the program witha good picture but no sound (another re-boot). Having this happen several times a day on two different receivers is maddening. So I call and they send me out two more receivers. A few days later, same problem. Same scene over again and I get two more receivers. Each time I get some, I have to take the old ones to a UPS outlet 24 miles away. Anyway, now one receiver will only mess up maybe once a week so I can live with that. The other messes up maybe 14 times a day. OK, now they decide to send a tech out to change them. After he leaves, they act up again. He returns, re-wires everything and leaves. They are bad again. Now I am being charged $6 per month for a service tech policy. Still have bad receivers and DISH tells me they are shipping refurbished receivers to those asking for replacement and that is why so many are bad.

OK, I am off my rant now as I wait on a DISH tech.

Had them about 8 or 10 yrs. Price keeps going up quality of programs keeps going down. My service goes out everytime we have an overcast day. Dish says they will come check my alignment for a $75.00 fee.

I already pay them premium price for garbage programming but everyone else gets the same programming so guess it's just their deal. However I can't get my local channels without paying an extra 10 or 12 bucks a month so I have elected to do without it.

If there was anyone else any better I would change but ther isn't.

i've had dish network for over 11 years. i had alot of problems with them the first year or so and came close to dropping them but obviously i haven't yet. i still have minor issues with them sometimes but my main complaint is the constant price increases although i'm sure cable is just as bad regarding prices and more expensive to begin with.
so after 11+ years i'm still not completely happy with dish net but i'm still a customer.

We have had Dish Net. for 7 or 8 years, after the first year we pay by the year and get one free month, just pay for 11 months. The only thing that we have is every so often the thing will take off and run every channel on it like you have held the change button down after it goes for a while it will come back close to where it started. Jeff

Had Dish Network but changed to Direct TV after the Dish HD programming got too expensive. I do like the Dish user interface better though.

I have it and like it, but since it's either this or a blank screen (no cable out this far) not much of a choice.

Was with DirecTV for 15+ years, same issues (receiver going out, wouldn't record DVR), switched to Dish this week...so far so good!

Hey Guys, I'm new to this forum. I work in DISH Social Media and came across a few threads on this forum regarding our services. If any of you folks are having any difficulty with your DISH services I would love to reach out and help you. Please feel free to send me a PM.
