I'm not a great golfer, but it's been a lifelong pastime for me. I was watching the tournament this afternoon and saw some "protesters" storm the 18th green and throw red powder around the cup. A few of them were promptly arrested and the grounds crew quickly vacuumed it up, but God knows what the substance was.

Play continued and I pray it wasn't a chemical/bio hazard. Thousands of people were in attendance and I hope these scumbags are convicted of a terrorist threat and never see the light of day again. If it were up to me, they'd be drawn and quartered on PBS. The PGA and the event sponsors donate millions of dollars to charities every year and it's an honorable game.

The "Just stop oil" crowd attacked Stonehenge with orange paint powder the day before the solstice. Had they done it on the day I suspect the crowd would have reinstated human sacrifice as a tradition.

Another pair broke into Stansted Airport and went after a couple of private jets, claiming one of them was Taylor Swift's. They had the gall to plead "no guilty" when charged despite pictures they took of themselves using an angle grinder on the fence. It is a ploy to try and get their viewpoint on record in court, but the judges have got wise to this game.

Two clowns who climbed on the Queen Elizabeth bridge over the Thames and disrupted traffic for hours are in the big house after the UK supreme court affirmed their sentences. The "Just stop oil" crowd and other protest groups went nuts saying "this will have a chilling effect on legitimate protest." I guess they missed the bit that the courts (and most of the UK public) don't consider their level of disruption as 'legitimate'.

In 1969 her first target was Pete Rose.

That put her on the map.

Yep, she married a guy in Columbus and lived here or might still live here. She made millions doing that schtick. Beats being a go- go dancer which I think she was doing before she became the bandit. I had forgotten about her till this thread.
