I don't usually post links to news stories, figuring most forum members are capable of reading the news themselves.

That said, this story is just scary.

The odd thing is, this is the first I've heard about this. No heads up from the NRA that I'm aware of. No mention of it in any NRA news that I've seen. Maybe I missed it? Or is there more to this story than is being reported?

I think that's all I'll say about this.

Well that sucks!
However, being the only gun shop in town, it would seem that these new laws are targeting this establishment.
Hmmm...... Lawsuit?

They will never wake up in Liberal Land. That's what they do, that's what they know, that's what they require. Just don't let it move east.

Not surprised a bit. It was just a matter of time before the knee jerk libtards that run San Fran made it too much bother for the heirs of Bob Chow to continue with his world famous LGS and Gunsmithing Services. I am only glad that I got to meet and chat with Bob Chow before he retired and left the everyday business of the shop to his children.

Bob Chow was a man before his time. He was a true gentleman and had no problem spending an hour with me discussing his modification techniques for the Colt 1911. I was sad when he passed and now I am sad for his children and the closing of his legacy. .....

I sometimes listen to Michael Savage who lives in San Francisco and he describes it as one of the most left wing corrupt cities in the country. I have personally never been there.
SF is also a sanctuary city wouldn't you know.
Watch who you vote for. If the major media tells you to hate this one or vote this way, you'd better take it with a grain of salt.

Now that the store is closed, who/what will they blame when the crime rate doesn't drop?

Minimum wages too little?
Not enough diversity?
Global warming?

No, they'll blame who they always do, "it's the Republican's fault." Remember what the president of our country called us? We are "the enemy" and that is exactly how they see us. This country will have to hit rock bottom and suffer much more before people wake up, before it get's better. The better part of my life is behind me, it's hard for me to recognize this country today, it's so vastly different then the one I grew up in, I fear for the world my grand kid's will live in. From their perspective, all they know is what they have experienced, for us older folks, we know what it use to be like.

The gun store had been talking of closing for years so it is not a surprise to us who lived in the bay area until three years ago.

SF has turned into a cesspool of a city. It does have nice areas, but even those areas are riddled with crime, not to mention homeless that walk down the street naked and will relieve themselves on your front steps. A close friend and her family finally left Pacific Heights (one of the nicest areas) because they had been broken into 5 times in 2 years (once at gunpoint in the middle of the night) and was worried about their children's safety. Their building was listed as historic and it took the city almost 3 years to okay the sale of their house!

We were so ready to leave the bay area and are ready to leave CA when we can. It is sad because it is such a pretty state, but thankfully there are a lot of pretty areas in the US.:)

Unfortunately, the citizens of California (and some other places) eagerly vote those having such "progressive" ideas into office. The question is why.

Is SF still part of america ?

And I thought it sucked here in PRNJ
