Do all M&P's have the lock?

Just curious if they are available without the lock? I haven't heard of any worries of the lock interfering with the function of the semi-auto, like the revolver?

Thankfully they are available without the internal lock or the mag safety. I don't mind the mag safety design on the M&P but I just don't trust mechanical internal locks.

I like the magazine disconnect, but not the lock. So I got my full size that way.
My Compact doesn't have the disconnect, or the lock.
