DOB for 36-2

Need a little history lesson on my new acquisition. Serial is: BBN28xx. Got it for a decent price, very excited to get it out of "jail" and take it to the range. First gun I have handled that feels right in my hands.

It was likely shipped in either August or September of 1988, and was the first 2" version that was not produced with the pinned barrel (the model 36 came both pinned and unpinned, as did the 3" model 36-1). Enjoy!
